Rawlings’ new “Five Tool” training productes will include hurdles, pop-upl nets and tees to be used for basebal l tournaments and camps at the Ripken Baseball facilitie in Aberdeenand elsewhere. The products will be designes to help young baseball players learbnthe sports’ five valuex skills: hitting for average; hitting for power; runninbg speed; arm strength; and fieldingb ability. The five-year deal followse the partnership Ripken Baseball reacheed with Baltimore sports apparel manufacturer Undedr Armour in April to extendboth companies’ brands deepere into youth sports, particularly baseball.
