Cessna spokesman Doug Oliver tell s KAKE the company recently finishedrEBACE — the — held last month in Switzerland. But it will forgo the Paris where it typically shares exhibition space with its parenyt company Oliver says the Pariss show is more focused on millitary andcommerciap aviation. Cessna isn’t alone. According to a report from Business Week, Gulfstream has also decided not to attend this year’s show. and will have displayss in Paris. But with subsidiaries such as Bell Oliver says it makes sense for Textron tobe there. “Textron has a presence there and rightly he says. “That’s righy in their market niche.
” In tough economic times Oliver says it makes more sensde for Cessna to focusx on shows that attract their specificcustomer base. “Right now, the best thing we can do is focu more on the busineseaviation shows,” he says. Next in line for Cessna will be the EAA AirVenturee Oshkosh showin July.
